28 More Tidbits About Me

1) I am NOT a morning person.

2) I attained feminist consciousness in the latter part of elementary school.

3) Growing up I never fantasized about getting married or having a "dream wedding." This still holds true today.

4) I pronounce my first name in Polish and my surname in English. My first name has Greek origins, my surname, as any humble Pole who has a surname ending with -cki will tell you, has supposed aristocratic origins.

5) While by no means a great writer, I still think that I can express myself better in writing than in speaking.

6) I am a product of public schools.

7) I like condiments.

8) I like poppies and puppies.

9) To be fully rested, I require on average 9 hours of sleep.

10) Besides electrolysis and laser techniques, I have tried just about every hair removal product on the market, and I am still hairy.

20) I was a part of the Academic Decathlon in high school; I was asked to join late. I never won any medals but I was the team's highest scorer that year. The following year the Academic Decathlon team at my school was the center of a cheating scandal. An HBO movie was made about it. I was not on the team that year.

21) When I buy a new pair of jeans, I have a habit of wearing them as if they were the only pair that I own.

22) It really irks me when people say vagina when they really are referring to the vulva.

23) I hate to repeat myself, yet I often ask others to repeat themselves.

24) I rarely use those toilet protectors in public bathrooms, as a result I have sat on other people's piss one too many times.

25) I tried to teach myself Esperanto once, I might attempt it again in the near future.

26) I have a crush on Angelina Jolie. But, who doesn't?

27) It annoys me when people use the expression "being the third wheel" instead of "being the fifth wheel".

28) It wasn't until college that I realized that movies and t.v. shows were edited and not shot sequentially.
